Pitch Perfect 2 hits cinemas this weekend
Aca-awesome news guys: Fat Amy and friends are back. Pitch Perfect 2 hits UAE cinemas on May 14, and while we’re usually suspicious of sequels to smash hit comedies (as anybody would be after watching The Hangover 2), original cast member and EW girl crush Elizabeth Banks is in the director’s chair for the follow-up, so we’ve got high hopes for this one.

The new package is launching in La Brasserie, but will rotate around all 23 of the resort’s restaurants.

There’s a nice post-work buzz at BOCA in Gate Village, and we suspect their happy hour might have something to do with it. Between 6pm and 8pm Dhs200 gets you 10 pintxos (that’s northern Spain’s answer to bar bites) and a jug of sangria. Or, have five pintxos and an excellent cocktail for Dhs75. The menu changes from week to week depending on the fresh ingredients the chefs can get their hands on, but if the grilled octopus is available, order it. You can thank us later.
