A little end of the week unwinding is on the cards this evening, courtesy of a sunset yoga session at the Talise Spa, Madinat Jumeirah. The sessions take place every evening at 6.30pm and cater to all levels.

Organising our travel essentials

Food forward planning
Vowing to eat healthily is one thing, actually sticking to it for any period of time is quite another. Who wants to be in their kitchen until 11pm on a Saturday prepping a week’s worth of nutritious packed lunches? We’ll be getting Love Food to take care of the boring stuff for us by delivering its fresh, organic breakfasts, lunches and dinners to our door. Love Food’s Vitality plan is low on sugar for those looking to shed a few pounds, Lifestyle is perfect for Paleo fans, and gym bunnies will love the protein-packed Power plan. We’re just afraid a week of grain-free apple pie pancakes and Korean short-ribs will put us off home cooking for life.

SATC the movie at Claw
Here’s a terrifying thought: more than a decade has passed since Carrie finally got her happy ending in the last episode of SATC. We’ll be catching up with her, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte on Wednesday July 8 at Claw, which is screening SATC the movie in its newly unveiled Barn. We’ll be there to get lost in Carrie’s Big dramas once more, all while tucking into themed dishes and drinks. Cosmos all round then.
