Kim Kardashian is no stranger to doing things in the name of fashion.
From her viral “shadow” look at the 2021 Met Gala to her full PVC ensembles, Kardashian knows how to get the world talking when it comes to her style.
Once again, all eyes were on the reality star as fashion’s elite descended upon Milan last week as Dolce&Gabbana presented its SS23 collection which was designed in collaboration with Kardashian.
Entitled ‘Ciao Kim’, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana revisited the house’s iconic archives as inspiration for the collection which featured statement faux fur coats, all-black bodysuits and a whole host of other ’90s-inspired looks.
Following the successful showcase, Kardashian was headed out to an after-party to celebrate the collection with friends and many others in the fashion industry where she wore a stunning custom-made glistening silver floor-length D&G dress which was perfectly sculpted to the reality star’s tiny frame.

However, while it looked stunning, the design also proved to be a slight issue when doing anything that involved a slight movement.
As the reality star was heading out in the Italian fashion capital, her friend and former assistant Stephanie Shepherd recorded Kardashian attempting to walk, climb stairs and get into a car in the said dress, which all proved to be of great difficulty. At one point in the footage, Kardashian is even heard asking, “Is there an elevator?”
Shepherd posted the series of clips to her TikTok account, and it has since gone insanely viral, receiving over 7.3 million views and, of course, people in the comments had a lot to say about Kardashian’s commitment to her look, which certainly divided opinion.
Many applauded the Skims founder for her devotion to her dress.
“Omg Kim will do anything for fashion… and I must respect her for that,” one person wrote.
“She looks so gorgeous but fashion is hard work,” another TikTok user said. “I’m exhausted just watching this.”
However, others weren’t so forgiving of Kardashian’s difficulties with her outfit.
A commenter explained that “no outfit is worth this kind of struggle”, while another criticised her time for “not having her carried up those stairs”.
For us though, we definitely have to applaud the mum-of-four for her level of commitment to fashion.
