Spanish views with Italian hospitality
Situated in the southern hills of Spain is one of the biggest luxury spas in Europe, here are five reasons why we love the Italian-themed Villa Padierna Palace Hotel spa.
There’s a thermal circuit
This Romanesque spa has a traditional thermal circuit, including more than five different steam and sauna rooms and hot and cold plunge pools. Scented steam rooms include lemon and lavender aromas, as well as several others.
Extensive treatment menu
The treatment menu on offer ranges from relaxation massages to detox treatments. There are also non-surgical facelift treatments such as endermologie, slimming treatments, couples packages and yoga classes on offer for 360 relaxation and recuperation.
The Romanesque pool
The spacious indoor pool has floor to ceiling windows looking out on the hotel’s incredible grounds. At one end of the pool there are two theatrical fountains with offering varying water pressure at the click of a button.
At the far end of the spa, there’s a relaxation room for all guests. The white, Spring themed room offers a sanctum from the outdoor world.
Take in the stunning surroundings
It’s not just the spa that has a Roman theme, the entire hotel is designed to look like a traditional Tuscan Palace. Following your treatment, take in the beautiful grounds and architecture, or head to La Veranda during the warmer months or La Loggia for a post treatment tea or snack.
