When Coach Backstage debuted in Dubai it did so in true style with British rapper Tinie Tempah headlining the exclusive concert at a purpose built arena on Madinat’s Fort Island.
Dressed in a Coach animal print jacket (from the men’s S/S16 collection), the music industry’s most dapper rapper worked the crowd into a frenzy as he performed his chart-topping hits in front of the region’s VIPs and social influencers.

A friend of the brand, Tinie Tempah was the obvious choice to bring #CoachBackstage to the region. Coach Backstage is a campaign by the luxury fashion brand focusing on noteworthy bands and artists who reflect the independent, dynamic attitude and spirit of Coach.
The first concert was, of course, in New York City and featured performances by Zoe Kravitz’s band Lolawolf and Banks.

Talking about bringing the event to the UAE, friend of the brand, Tinie Tempah, exclusively told Emirates Woman: “It feels great to be part of Coach. For the past two years I’ve been going to Coach shows and since Stuart Vevers started it really seems like the brand has revamped and reinvented itself. It has a great heritage.”

Regularly spotted front row at Coach catwalk shows and always in attendance of creative director Stuart Vevers brand parties, Tinie teased us that a collaboration with the brand could be in the pipeline. He said: “I love to collaborate so who knows there could be a Tinie Tempah collaboration with Coach. I mean I would be up for that.”
