The Middle East’s leading art fair, Art Dubai, is back – and it’s bigger than ever.
Officially inaugurated by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Chairperson of Dubai Culture, on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, the event is the largest its been since its launch in 2007.

“Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, I was pleased to inaugurate the ‘Art Dubai’ fair in its largest edition since 2007,” she said.

This year Art Dubai is welcoming over 100 exhibitors – of which 30 are participating for the very first time – from 44 countries.
Art Dubai is also combining elements of digital with the physical in a post-pandemic world this year launching ‘Art Dubai Digital’.
Set to open for the public on March 11, 2022 and run until March 13, 2022, the standout exhibitions include Cosmodreams by Marina Fedorova; Cloud Seed by artist James Clar commissioned by Julius Baer; Congolese photographer Gosette Lubondo; and Speculative Links which will showcase the works of several budding artists from this region.
