Just two days after the birth, the new parents introduced their son to the world and officially announced his name as Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The fashion designer shared her congratulations on Instagram by posting a photo of Duke and Duchess of Sussex with little Archie and wrote: “Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex #PrinceHarry and #MeghanMarkle on their baby boy! So happy for you both. x VB”
Beckham and Meghan have reportedly struck up a good friendship with many reporting that the designer shared some interior tips when the couple were decorating Frogmore cottage. The new mum has also worn Victoria Beckham’s clothing on a number of engagements and both her and husband David Beckham were guests at the royal wedding last year.

Yesterday afternoon Queen Elizabeth got to meet to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle with the Duke of Edinburgh and The Duchess’ mother both present for this happy occasion.
During the official photographs both Harry and Meghan expressed their joy with the Duchess adding: “I have the two best guys in the world, so I’m really happy.”
According to recent statistics, Archie is the 18th most popular name for a boy in the UK.
