If we take a dig into the Van Cleef & Arpels archive, the recurring Alhambra collection constantly pops up.

As these dazzling pieces have stood the test of time, Van Cleef & Arpels pays homage to this worldwide success during the month of October in Saudi Arabia’s capital city Riyadh.

With its history dating back 50 years, this collection has reappeared in different forms with luck consistently at its helm. Inspired by the Maison’s artistic flair, the collection was born to inspire hope and optimism to its wearers.

Defined by a four-leaf clover, this symbol of icon has been a prominent emblem of the house since its inception. The first Alhambra long necklace was designed with this icon of good luck, made from 20 motifs in creased gold. After becoming an instant success, other pieces followed in the brand’s timeline.

After four-leaf clovers first made their appearance in the 1920s, the Alhambra collection has renewed itself season after season with six key collections. It included Vintage, Magic, Sweet, Lucky, Pure and Byzantine Alhambra, allowing women to wear each piece in multiple ways.

Based on the principle of luck, Jacques Arpels, the nephew of Estelle Arpels, has often said, “To be lucky, you have to believe in luck.”

The emblematic creations focus on these key aspects while still reflecting on the expertise of its fine craftsman.

After going through 15 stages of selection, crafting and checking, each unique piece has stood the test of time, with a polished finish to create harmonious sets. From the vintage Alhambra long necklace to the Magic Alhambra earrings, each piece is unique in its own right.

The event is all set to take place from October 14 to October 23, 2021, in Al Faisaliyah Mall, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. For more information visit vancleefarpels.com
