The leaders of the UAE have congratulated Saudi Arabia ahead of the country’s annual National Day.

This Thursday, September 23, 2021, will mark the Kingdom’s 91st National Day.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Command of the Armed Forces, both shared public messages of support and congratulations to Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to mark the special occasion.

The Dubai Ruler shared a video on social media of DIFC’s Gate Building which was emblazoned with the Saudi Arabian flag and the UAE flag showcasing a sign of support and unity between both countries.

The leaders of both countries photos were also showcased as another sign of the solidarity between the two GCC countries.

Along with the video, Sheikh Mohammed said, “The Saudi National Day every year is an occasion dear to all of us. An occasion in which we renew brotherhood and establish love and proceed from it towards a better and more beautiful future of two peoples united by ambition that knows no bounds.”

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also shared a message on Twitter saying, “Congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, my brother the Crown Prince, and the Saudi people on their 91st National Day.”

“Our two nations stand as one and we celebrate all your achievements. We look forward to a bright future together,” he added.

Saudi National Day marks when the Kingdom of Nejd and Hejaz was changed to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the late King Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The day was officially made a national holiday back in 2005 by the late King Abdullah.
