Unfortunately, there will not be a long weekend in July.

The UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) made an announcement that Sunday July 7 will be a public holiday for Islamic New Year for the UAE private sector.

Which means it won’t be a long weekend for the ones who typically take Saturday-Sunday as the weekend.

It’s business as usual on Monday July 8.

When is the next public holiday in the UAE?
