Dubai is set to welcome the eighth global iteration of travelling social club Prada Mode next month.

With a focus on contemporary culture, Prada will host a unique art experience on November 9 and 10 which will include music, dining conversations, as well as an installation entitled Pharamcy by artist Damien Hirst.

The exhibition will directly follow on from the Pharmacy iteration which was presented at Prada Mode Moscow in 2021. For Prada Mode Dubai, Hirst will transform a dedicated space at ICD Brookfield Place in DIFC.

“I’m thrilled and honoured to be invited by Miuccia Prada to recreate Pharmacy for Prada Mode in Dubai after our successful collaboration in Moscow,” Hirst said of Prada Mode coming to Dubai. “I’m working really hard with a complicated but beautiful space, ICD Brookfield Place, to create harmony between the inside and outside of the new building.

“Once again, Prada have found a space that will provide the perfect place for it.”

The first rendition of Hirst’s famed Pharmacy installation launched 30 years ago at the Cohen Gallery in New York. He then went on to develop the concept into a fully functioning restaurant in 1996 located in Notting Hill, London.

The newest edition of Prada Model in Dubai will feature early access to the club for members to participate in morning and afternoon panels and discussions as well as nightly events, sampling speciality cocktails and dining throughout.

This marks the first time the travelling social club has come to the Middle East following its inaugural edition taking place in Miami in 2018. Since its launch four years ago, Prada Mode has travelled to Hong Kong, London, Paris, Shanghai, Moscow and Los Angeles.
