Well, you know what they say? If it’s not broke, don’t break it and that’s the advice Topshop followed when it decided to team up with model du jour Cara Delevingne for the third time.
British supermodel Cara Delevingne simply can’t do wrong in the fashion industry at the moment, not only has she just starred as a guest editor for Love magazine but we are barely into 2015 and she is also the new star of Topshop’s spring/summer 2015 campaign, and we just love it. Shot in a studio by renowned photographer Alasdair McLellan and styled by Topshop Creative Director Kate Phelan, the shoot is a move on from the previous two with emphasis on a clean and paired back aesthetic.
From 1960s-inspired denims to feminine biker jackets and sleek cocktail dresses, the new collection does not disappoint. In fact, this could be our fave Cara Delevingne for Topshop collaboration. Tell us what you think about it.
As a model-cum-actress, Cara is renowned for her dramatic antics and what makes this campaign extra special is that Topshop have decided to focus on her ‘wacky’ behaviour and document it for a promotional video. The results are hilarious with the 22-year-old playing up to the cameras with panache whether it be dancing with jazz hands or playing a keyboard with her head, all the while sporting the latest collection from the high street brand. Genius!
