JBR hotspot Ramusake has a teishoku lunch special between 1pm and 4pm on Thursdays, which is the perfect way to treat yourself at the end of the work week (without breaking the bank). Take a dip in the dark

La Ville Hotel & Suites in City Walk is letting you make the most of its stunning rooftop pool with their new ‘Dip in the Dark’ offering. Enrol your little ones in a summer workshop

Le BHV Marais City Walk is hosting a series of summer workshops for children in collaboration with Collage Center. The workshops kick off today, and will run over the next six weeks, with fun and engaging activities like rainbow painting, dreamcatcher making and self portraits. Each workshop runs from 11am to 1pm – giving mums the perfect opportunity to enjoy a long, luxurious coffee break in City Walk.

Check out a brand new brunch

Brunswick in the Sheraton Mall of the Emirates has undergone a major revamp – it’s no longer a sports bar, it’s now a Melbourne-inspired eatery, bar & terrace, and a stylish one at that. Their new brunch offering is ‘Charlie’s Brunch’, which is based around the travels of a Dubai expat named Charlie Lane – every week he’ll take you on a 10-course journey, inspired by the foods he’s tasted and the experiences he’s had around the world. Brunch is followed by an acoustic set from 4pm to 8pm, and a DJ from 8pm to late.

See Beyonce’s songwriter performing live

Palazzo Versace Dubai recently welcomed Haitian-American singer-songwriter Nstasia as the new resident act at Q’s Bar and Lounge, the jazz bar owned by the legendary Quincy Jones. She’s penned hits for the likes of Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson and Nicole Scherzinger, so you can expect some big tunes.

Celebrate Bastille Day

Witness a K-pop supergroup take over the Burj Khalifa

Back in January, EXO became the first ever K-pop band to have a song added to the Dubai Fountain’s playlist, and now they’re set to receive an even bigger honour.
