Dreaming of sandy white beaches and lush tropical greenery Us too.

Luckily, a luxe destination that has, on the whole, had its borders closed for the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic has recently reopened.

UAE residents are now once again able to travel to Bali, a top island getaway in Indonesia. Even better, you don’t have to quarantine at all.

Per an announcement made by the Government of Bali last week, travellers from 23 countries, including the UAE,  are permitted to travel to the exotic destination quarantine-free, along with visa on arrival services.

However, there are some guidelines in place including the need to present proof of vaccination and/or booster shot. A COVID-19 PCR test is also required on arrival, with visitors needing to quarantine until a negative result is received.

Additionally, COVID-19 insurance for tourists up to $100,0000 (Dhs367,301) will be required.

To ease the experience, direct international flights have resumed to Bali for the first time in two years. Without any layovers, passengers can seamlessly plan their trip, with either Emirates or Etihad.

Despite Bali easing restrictions, the rest of Indonesia continues to follow the necessary quarantine rules, keeping it off-limits for the current period until further notice.

But if you’ve been dreaming of travelling to this ultimate tropical getaway, now’s the time to do so.
