We’re picking this will sell out pretty much immediately.

Supermodel Bella Hadid has given a Dubai-based brand a major boost, wearing one of their hoodies while out and about in London.

The cropped white sweatshirt from Lama Jouni’s forthcoming SS18 collection, Back to Basics, went perfectly with Hadid’s high waisted trousers and fluffy-collared coat. Those orange Poppy Lissiman sunnies were a strong move, too.

Jouni’s hoodie won’t be available until February, when it will retail for Dhs500. We’re thinking top-model status means you can get your hands on next season styles without much trouble.

In the meantime, we quite like the look of this mustard midi from the label’s current range. It’s a cool cut and an unexpected colour – we’d wear it to death.

The Lebanon-born, Paris-trained and now Dubai-based designer is probably celebrating right now. Getting this kind of celebrity boost can only be a positive for a label.

Very cool. Also of note this week is Hadid’s participation in a march in support of Palestine over the weekend. The model, whose father is half-Palestinian, went straight from a Tag Heur event. Yep, she marched in an evening gown.

Hadid also posted about the cause on Instagram.

“Watching the news and seeing the pain of the Palestinian people makes me cry for the many many generations of Palestine,” she wrote.

“The treatment of the Palestinian people is unfair, one-sided and should not be tolerated. I stand with Palestine.

“There is no hate against anyone. There are no sides. All religions living side by side. Now it is just one man.”
