Paris Golding and Biance Skeete founded isawitfirst.me in late 2015 when they spotted gap in the market for affordable fashion with fast shipping in the UAE, they told Payfort.
“We finally quit our jobs and jumped into the deep end using any money we had to supply our friends and colleagues with clothing and bikinis,” the pair said.

The site has since taken off across the world, with celebrities including 90210 actress Jessica Lowndes donning the label.
Golding and Skeete say that e-commerce is still growing in the Middle East, attributing that slightly slower pace to the popularity and convenience of malls. They think they’re in a good spot to expand, as they know their customers so well.
“Everything we buy is for our type of consumer; we don’t order items just because the mainstream says they are in fashion, we buy items that we know our customers want,” Golding and Skeete told Payfort.
“We listen to our customers and even though we are growing quite quickly, we always add our personal touch to each order.”
Flexibility is always key with a young business, and I Saw It First customers have the option of same-day shipping and paying cash on arrival. We’re seeing this becoming a problem for our bank accounts.
