So we’re particularly looking forward to picking up some top tips from J-Lo’s own hairdresser this year, when she comes to Dubai.

Atkin, who’s worked with the Kardashian clan, Jessica Alba and Reese Witherspoon (to name just a few) and is the creator behind cool-girl haircare line Ouai, is just one of the stars that will appear at the three-day event.

Colourist Tracey Cunningham, who Emma Stone, Lily Aldridge and Gwyneth Paltrow have to thank for their glossy hues, will also be jetting into town, as will celebrity skin expert Nurse Jamie, who’s worked with everyone from Kirsten Dunst to Huda Kattan and has her own line of beauty gadgets.

Talking of Kattan, the Huda Beauty founder will also be appearing at Beauty Pop, and will take part in scheduled panel discussions with her sister Mona.

The festival will include meet-and-greets, as well as masterclasses from Atkin and celebrity makeup artists Mary Phillips and Bassam Fattouh (whose client lists include Jennifer Lopez, the Kardashians and Chrissy Teigen).

Beauty bloggers Camila Coelho, Desi Perkins and Marianna Hewitt will also be taking part, as will regional style icons such as Dana Hourani and Fouz Al Fahad.
