‘Peppermint’ star Annie Illonzeh chose Rami Kadi
Annie Illonzeh wore a gown by Lebanese designer Rami Kadi to the premiere of her new Hollywood film Peppermint in LA over the weekend.
Ilonzeh plays an FBI agent in the film, which also stars Jennifer Garner, who becomes a vigilante after her husband and daughter are murdered in a drive-by shooting by members of the cartel.
The dress featured a black bodice with cut-out detail and a multi-coloured skirt, complete with metallic strips.
The actress first rose to fame on the ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital. She then went on to star in the ABC reboot of Charlie’s Angels.
Taking to Instagram, Illonzeh paid tribute to her co-star Garner.
“Enjoyed working with you all! Can’t wait to do it again.” She also referred to Garner as her “idol”.
A string of A-list celebs have been spotted wearing Lebanese designers lately.
Earlier last month, Heidi Klum turned up to the America’s Got Talent Season 13 Live Show in a Zuhair Murad white suit.
Freido Pinto donned a cobalt blue Elie Saab jumpsuit from the coutier’s Resort 2018 collection for the premiere of her latest film Love, Sonia in Melbourne that same month.
Game of Thrones star Rose Leslie turned to Lebanese couturier Elie Saab for her wedding dress in June.
