Join the club, the Vii Club
Nightlife hotspot Vii club have launched a new Thursday night event – Hits. What does it entail? Music from the 1980s and 1990s for a retro boogie. Prince, Ja Rule, 112 and Michael Jackson set the tone, as Dubai’s very own, DJ Kennedy spins his mashups and mixes tracks. A special customised ‘bulb ceiling’ sets the mood by flashing in sync to the beat of the music. Vii located at the 7th floor of the Conrad hotel, Sheikh Zayed road, Hits nights are held every Thursday from 11pm to 3am.

Sample the Italiano way of life
Offering its own take on the popular Dubai tradition of ‘happy hour’, Luna Sky Bar has launched Aperitivo, offering complimentary antipasto to accompany beverages between 5pm and 8pm daily. Tom & Serg’s latest hotspot opens
The brainchild of Bull & Roo, new Mexican restaurant Muchachas is celebrating its launch on August 23. The new licensed cantina will open its doors inside the Holiday Inn Express near Safa Park (just opposite the Gulf News Building).
