Celebrate the start of the Equinox
equinox

Springtime has officially begun (despite the rainy forecasts) and we can’t think of a better way to usher it in than with the Equinox spring festival this Friday at Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE. The ‘experience beyond imagination’ starts at 1pm for an entire day and evening of installations, art pieces, performances and extravagant costumes. Once the sun has set, electronic music and unique sounds from Cadanza Music will be filling the air with its underground elise: Gianni Callipari, Ezikiel and Felipe Valenzuela. For reservations, call (050) 6113 3400 or email reservation@bluemarlinibiza-uae.com

Eat like Lebanese royalty
hummus

The newest restaurant to open its doors at Atlantis The Palm is keeping on trend! An emphasis on Middle Eastern flavours is set to be one of the biggest food trends in 2016 so Ayamna’s authentic Lebanese cuisine couldn’t be more appropriate. Its menu is based on fresh, seasonal produce, celebrating classic favourites served in a contemporary fashion. The impressive spread of cold and hot mezze starters is so hard not to fill up on, but try and save room for the mains and dessert because not a single thing on this menu fails to impress. For restaurant reservations, please call (04) 426 2626 or email restaurantreservations@atlantisthepalm.com

Leave a good karmic footprint
karma kitchen

We could all use a little more good Karma in our lives – enter Karma Kitchen. Chandni Sawlani from InJoy Giving (who are the ones coordinating the evening) spoke to us about Karma Kitchen’s third event in Dubai: “Karma Kitchen is a volunteer-led restaurant where customers are served from the heart and with a smile. It’s all about giving and the extensive vegetarian menu has no price tags on it. You are invited to enjoy a meal served with love and to contribute from the heart and pay as generously as you like.” Held at Pantry Café, Wasl Square, Jumeriah on Friday from 6pm – 9.30pm, it’s free to attend (of course) but you can book your seat at Eventbrite.
