Cherine Magrabi Tayeb founded her line of limited-edition minaudières in 2018 wanting to bridge the gap between collectable art and high fashion. Handmade in Florence using ancient enamelling antiques, each collection is made up of 13 unique pieces featuring original artwork by the designer.
Andrea Wazen
Andrea Wazen fast became a Hollywood fave after launching her footwear label in 2014. Spotted on the feet of everyone from Jennifer Lopez to Emily Ratajkowski, the Beirut-based designer creates couture-inspired masterpieces that toe the line between artistically unique and wear-ably feminine.
L’afshar
Described as equal parts architecture and art, Lilian Afshar’s name exploded onto the scene in 2014 with her unique box bags. Mixing eclectic contemporary textures perspex and acrylic with exotic leathers, Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner are already cult followers of the Dubai-based brand.
Yuzefi
Naza Yousefi wanted to rewrite the codes of bag design when she launched her London label Yuzefi in 2016. Her signature maximalist resin chains are an example of her aim to push the boundaries of inherited rules with silhouettes that are nonconformist and non-seasonal.
L’atelier Nawbar
A family business started that in Beirut in 1881 is now a contemporary jewellery brand ran by Lebanese sisters, Dima and Tania Nawbar. The fourth-generation jewellers use a modern vision to update an age-old tradition since 2011 when the duo started their own label.
