Dubai is no stranger when it comes to showcasing opulent pieces.

Adding another one to the list this season is a gold Hermès Birkin bag crafted from 18-carat gold and created by Debbie Wingham.

There’s no denying that the Birkin continues to be one of the most coveted objects to date, since its inception. With a strong sense of the house’s history still infused in each stellar piece, this polished molecular structure is cast in real gold from a 3D printed master.

This exquisite piece is priced at $1 million(Dhs3.67 million) and will be on display at the Sofitel Obelisk in Dubai, until Friday, November 12, 2021. After the display, one of Wingham’s private collectors who has already purchased the Real gold Drip bag will present it at her home in Abu Dhabi.

Another limited edition electroplated version of the Drip Bag has been designed in rose gold, a platinum finish and gold.

With social media often seen fawning over celebrities spotted with their Birkin bags in paparazzi pictures, the bag is now seen in a modern light, especially through this desirable creation.

As Debbie always being in the limelight for her expensive bags and purses, she also created two bespoke pieces by taking inspiration from the concept of time. Classified as the world’s most expensive frame, this vintage timepiece showcased Dubai’s transformational skyline in a completely new light. Dubai’s past, present and future were echoed through this immaculate piece.

Her other luxe creation also touched upon the concept of time. The melting platinum clock charm takes references from Salvador Dali, as it expands on the concept of how time never stands still. Besides the mother of pearl face finish, the melting clock face is its stand-out feature.

While Debbie continues to hold the title of owning the world’s most expensive bag from 2019 priced at $750,000 (Dhs2.75 million), these latest creations came with no surprise.
