As Emirates continues to take leaps and bounds to get back to a resemblance of normal, the Dubai-based airline is set to return its A380 super jumbo jet back into the sky.
The airline made the announcement on Tuesday evening revealing the “iconic” plane – which is the largest passenger plane in the world – would be back in the skies on July 15 on routes from Dubai to London Heathrow and Paris.

Due to the current pandemic, the majority of flights around the world have been grounded for the last few months, and this has included Emirates’ superjumbos due to decreased demand.
Now with Dubai borders set to open for tourists on July 7, the relaunching of the London Heathrow and Paris super jumbo services perfectly coincides with this.
At present, the Dubai airline has flights running to 40 destinations, the majority of which have launched this month with demand increasing due to residents wanting to return and with the announcement that UAE citizens and residents are now able to travel to certain countries.
It’s clear Dubai is well and truly ready to welcome back tourists, with an uplifting video released by Dubai Tourism and Emirates that was released on Monday.
The video had an important message saying, “This city has its arms wide open, and they are open for you.”
