After the seasonal rush Emirates Woman decided to have a break from partying and enjoy the relaxed vibe of the top-notch brunch at Spectrum on One at the Fairmont Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road.

Expect to hear the sound of clinking glasses and the low hum of chatter, as guests enjoy the delicious food at this splendid Friday brunch.

The eye-popping brunch stations took so long to walk around it that we worked up that much needed appetite along the way. But, believe us, this is a good thing because you won’t want to skip a single dish in this stunning spread.

There’s a delicious array of temptation around every corner: shell fish, sushi, dim sum, smoked fish, Thai curry and roast beef with Yorkshire puddings the size of footballs.

Then there are the desserts. The Eton Mess, an English blend of meringue, cream and berries, is smashed together while you wait. The butterscotch panna cotta and black forest gateau, both served in glasses, are cute and moreish. But the most deadly dessert is their famous sticky toffee pudding – leave room for this if you can.

And we haven’t even mentioned the cheese room. Yes, a whole room dedicated to fragrant fromage. A fitting end to a fabulous feast.

The nicely spaced tables are key to this warm and gleaming setting. Although bustling with guests, we were not overwhelmed within this simmering dining hub.

This award winning brunch has become an institution within the Dubai social circle. With the unlimited bubbles and divine dishes, Spectrum on One is the perfect place to simply enjoy the company of your friends and family.

We wore silk trousers and heels, laid back yet chic.
