The Low Down
Before the hedonistic vibes begin, EDEN Beach Club takes you on a holistic journey. By day you’re encouraged to take advantage of its glorious beach front location – it has one the best views Dubai has to offer, including every iconic building in the region – with various daily beach-based workouts. It is family-friendly and unpretentious with clientele ranging from couples to groups of giggling friends catching up in the private cabanas. It is only by night that it is transformed into a fabulous party destination with live music, gorgeous crowds and much dancing.

The Active Side
Partnering up with Original Fitness Co. and Oceanman, from 10am until sunset each day, EDEN Beach Club offers a programme of water sports to suit all tastes and abilities. Stand Up Paddleboarding fans can hire boards and explore the clear Palm Jumeirah waters for 30 minutes, one hour or two hour slots. Beginners can also take lessons from expert instructors, choosing from a one hour express lesson, private one-on-one training or bring along some friends and take a group lesson (minimum four people). Single and double kayaks are also available to hire with an option to a kayak tour with an Oceanman tour guide, taking in the iconic sights around the Palm Jumeirah including the Burj Al Arab and past the Sheikh’s private island. Rentals start from Dhs50 for 30 minutes.
Also on the schedule is beach workouts. Circuit classes run on Wednesdays at 6am and 9am, and 9am on Fridays. Suitable for any ability and fitness level, the Original Fitness Co. instructors give you expert training to keep trim, whether you choose a casual drop in session or sign up for a workout package.

With the onus on healthy lifestyle, the menu might have some of the usual bar-style offerings, such as burger and chips, however it is dominated by nutritious options including fresh juices, fruit platters and cereals with soya and almond both available for those with intolerance. The Raw Bar restaurant is a fabulous lunch-time spot. With a Japanese chef the sushi and sashimi are recommended. If you can handle spices we suggest the yellow tail ceviche– the jalapeno bite is just perfect. The piece de resistance, however, is the seafood platter, with jumbo prawns, scallops, lobster and roasted vegetables. It’s the perfect dish to share after an active morning.

Party Time
The party crowd – you will spot them, the bikini-clad women caked in make-up and the impeccably groomed men sucking in their bellies – start to emerge around 3pm, yet it isn’t intimating. The scale of the venue allows for pockets of privacy, whether it be in a beachfront bungalow, chilled cabana or merely a seat close to the shore. EDEN Beach Club allows you to choose your level of hedonism.

As the sun sets DJs fill the beach bar and mixologists create the perfect tonics to take you through to the evening. The bar closes at midnight.
