With the weather cooling, brunch season is in full swing again, and one of Dubai’s firm favourites is back and better than ever. Every Friday afternoon, The Westin opens up three of its restaurants: Blue Orange, Hunters and Spice Emporium for their Bubbalicious brunch. Plates at the ready, people…

DÉCOR

The set-up at Bubbalicious offers an eclectic mix of not only food, but décor too. Blue Orange boasts high ceilings and huge windows, allowing natural light to flood in. As the largest of the three restaurants, Blue Orange is the main hub of the brunch, ideal for larger bookings and families. It’s also where the entertainment takes place. If you’re after a more cosy setting, Hunters Room & Grill is ideal. This contemporary steak house exudes style, complete with leather seating and thick wooden tables. Your third option, Spice Emporium, boasts an Asian-inspired futuristic design – think glass kitchen walls and Bonsai trees.

FOOD

Whatever you want, Bubbalicious has got it. Take your pick from over 10 live cooking stations and a variety of worldwide cuisines, including Italian, Arabic, Asian and French, not forgetting the mini butcher’s shop that serves up a top-notch roast dinner. Being able to move freely through three eateries provides an extensive selection of food that will rival any other brunch. Ranging from salads and pasta to foie gras and lobster, there’s a dish to suit everyone. To satisfy your sweet tooth, look no further than the chocolate station for a sugar fix.

AMBIENCE

Bubbalicious is fully booked week in, week out, but don’t let this deter you (but do let it prompt you into booking in advance). The open-plan concept means plenty of space for all, without being forced to listen to your neighbours’ conversation. The atmosphere is lively and buzzing, but still family-friendly with entertainment from a live band and even a petting zoo for your little ones.

WHY BOTHER?

Five-star luxury, fantastic food and not an empty glass in sight, what more could you ask for?
