A five-star setting with top quality food, yet minus the nose-in-the-air attitude that might usually come with such an eatery.
The service is smiley and super informative; our server knew all the menu details, even down to the type of oil used to cook each dish.

Everything seemed to taste better in RAK, oh to be away from all of the city smoke and car fumes!
While we browsed the menu, my dinner date and I nibbled on rustic breads served with sauces and a delicious chunky olive paste.
The menu boasts the best of the Mediterranean: risottos, oven fresh pizzas, mezzes, salads, soups and seafood.
First to arrive was the 300g-fillet steak (Dhs179), so huge it’s only for the very hungry. Luckily we were and thank goodness, because it’s the perfect cut; tender, juicy and full of flavor. The meat comes with a side of sweet mashed potatoes, grilled veggies and a creamy mushroom sauce, all of which was devoured.
Next up, the pizza. We went for the classic Margherita (Dhs52), laden with melt-in-your-mouth mozzarella and a delicious crust – crusty with a soft centre.
Despite our stuffed bellies, we completed our feast with a hot chocolate soufflé drizzled with butterscotch sauce (Dhs39) we can report it was every bit as sinful as its sounds, but so worth it.
The arched brown brick ceilings create a spacious atmosphere and compliment the warm wood furniture and terracotta accents. Take a table inside or in the cool months head out to the terrace to soak up the view!
