DÉCOR
So gleaming clean you can see your reflection in its 1950-esque chequered black and white floor. Very much like the deli in Milan, food is displayed like fine art behind glass cabinets while packaged pastas, sauces and chutneys are displayed on shelves allowing you to take home the delicious flavours dished out in the restaurant.
With style as his specialty all of Giorgio Armani’s restaurants ooze sophistication and elegance, particularly Peck. This is where you will want to dress to impress – no one wants to be upstaged by a venue interior.
However, what really takes the stunning décor up a notch is its windows, which offer astounding views of one of Dubai’s most renowned landmarks – the fountains. A perfect backdrop to any meal, especially when you’re out to impress.
FOOD
We’re not going to go down the clichéd route and say it’s like how mama would make it because it’s not, unless your mama is an exquisite master chef who offers fine dining spins on traditional hearty Italian cuisine. Starters are served via a buffet and the options are endless from tuna Niçoise salad to dill-crusted salmon, an octopus, mussel and squid melody, sundried tomatoes and the largest olives ever seen. Mains are a la carte. We recommend the risotto.
It’s easy to see why the Italians coined the phrase La Dolce Vita when you see the dessert buffet. From traditional cannolis and tiramisus to an array of chocolate delights you’ll be wise to dress with an elastic waistband.
If cheese is more your thing then fromage fans will not be disappointed. You name it and they have it – we’re being serious, the selection is so vast you’ll be hard pressed not to find your favourite.
AMBIENCE
Spacious and airy, yet not overbearingly so. It never feels too empty and you never feel like your privacy is being invaded. There is a constant buzz that provides an ideal setting whatever the occasion.
WHY BOTHER
