Just a short stroll from The Dubai Mall and beneath The Address Downtown, lies a chic little French restaurant, that’s got those in the know talking.
The sister restaurant of renowned Bistro Bagatelle, which currently holds zip codes in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Sao Paulo, and St. Bath’s, there were high hopes for this spot when it opened a few months ago.
Offering some seriously tasty French dishes, alongside a mouth-watering patisserie, the scent of freshly baked bread and sweet goodies are sure to draw you in.
Décor
We felt as though we were sitting in a beautiful private apartment in the heart of Paris.
The space is bright and white, with Pop Art paintings lining the walls; a table piled with stylish books and antique glass chandeliers hanging from the ceilings.
Take your pick from the plush wraparound sofa or the comfy, curved-back chairs, as you settle down to the pristine tables, set with fine silver wear and baby blue accents – the perfect Parisian parlor!
The best bit is the glass bar, which stretches across one length of the restaurant, and inside holds a decadent display of golden goodies, from freshly baked bread to melt-in-your mouth pastries – who could resist.
The Food
Offering breakfast, dinner and everything in between, the menu is pure sophistication – think Oeufs Benedict for breakfast, slathered in a light hollandaise sauce with a warm almond croissant and glass of freshly squeezed juice.
For lunch, go for either a sandwich, which come packed with super fresh, tasty ingredients, or one of their salads. We’re fans of the Endive salad, which piles gourmet blue cheese and walnuts on top of crisp greens
For dinner, the baked macaroni and cheese (nearly every table in the house ordered this creamy delight!) and roast chicken are a must-try and both come infused with truffle – always a plus!
Why Bother?
The food is simple yet delicious and the atmosphere oozes French chic.
Go For
This is the perfect spot to hold a girl’s dinner, but it’s also great for date night.
