Located in Towers Rotana on Sheikh Zayed Road, it’s gained a reputation amongst residents and tourists alike as one of the best spots in town.
DÉCOR
Teatro makes use of its rich interiors with dark wooden tables and red leather seating. The dimmed lighting creates a dramatic feel, after all, the restaurant is named after the theatre, but don’t worry the staff won’t present the menu along with a song and dance.
For those stopping by for a drink at the bar, the comfy booths are great for socialising and grabbing a light bite.
FOOD
Teatro serves some of the most delicious food we’ve sampled, so be prepared to loosen your belt a notch or two during dinner.
The kitchen cooks up a fusion of Japanese, Indian and Italian dishes and if you’re dining with a group, we suggest ordering a selection of appetisers to share. This is one menu you need to sample to the fullest.
The burrata cheese and wasabi tempura are two must haves, followed by the miso sea bass for main course, one of the restaurants best sellers and EW’s personal favourite.
Be sure to check out the sushi menu too, it’s good enough to rival any other.
Another bonus is that portions are generous but not overwhelming so there’s always room for dessert. Sizzling chocolate pudding anyone?

Thankfully Teatro utilises its space to ensure enough distance between you and your fellow diners, and thanks to it’s great rep, there’s never a tumbleweed in sight.
The atmosphere is always lively with conversations and celebrations and the friendly staff are always more than happy to recommend dishes.
