And after scanning the menu we found a hamburger wrapped in lettuce for a mere 190kcals – that won’t upset our new January regime (or personal trainer for that matter).

We will be testing out the wonderful new spa menu at the Talise Ottoman Spa, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray hotel.
The new Desert Sand Body treatment (Dhs515) is said to slough off dead skin with a blend of finely ground sand and salt crystals, followed by a rubdown with skin softening Argan oil, all practiced in their ultra-palatial surroundings.
