In just two years, The Modist has become the leading shopping destination, and things just keep getting better. The e-commerce platform collaborated with one of Meghan Markle’s favourite brands, Roland Mouret, and launched a signature capsule collection.
At the helm of the French brand is designer, Roland Mouret, who understands and champions chic femininity through his pieces, which elongate the frame yet consider coverage. One of the renowned designer’s signature looks is a simple, yet powerful dress, which aim to empower women. So, it comes as so surprise that he is one of the Duchess of Sussex’s go-to labels. Over the past few months, Meghan has been spotted rocking the label during Royal engagements, most iconic was the sequin dress, which she wore for an appearance at Cirque du Soleil’s Totem, early on in her pregnancy.

Many items from this collection with The Modist will feature reimagined signature styles from Roland Mouret. Fans of the designer can expect the ‘Raines’ and the ‘Eady’, the crafted in tones of pink, red, and blue. Describing his designing techniques, the French designer said: “I drape, I touch, the fabric takes the lead.” The luxury label is a brand that connects through aesthetic: “Women around the world have found strength through community and shared experiences.
