Every daughter raids her mother’s closet, and it isn’t any different if your mother happens to be the Queen of Jordan.

Celebrations are ongoing in full swing for the Jordanian Royal Family. With only a few days left to the Royal Wedding of Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Al Saif and the recent High School graduation of Prince Hashem — the family is constantly out and about.

Recently, Princess Iman bint Abdullah attended her to-be sister-in-law’s henna party in a simple-yet-elegant lavender dress with lace details. But her choice of accessory was rather interesting. To complement her minimal look, Princess Iman carried the ‘Vivienne’ Faceted Shell Minaudière clutch from Rafe New York.

A dainty piece of accessory that was previously carried by Queen Rania. Her Majesty recently paired this boxy bag with her emerald green ensemble for the celebrations of Jordan’s 77th Independence Day. Before this, Queen Rania also paired this clutch with an ivory gown during a banquet dinner held for King Charles.

With no dearth of options, it is inspiring to see even the Royals repeating their outfits and accessories. It is especially heartening to see when the closet is shared between generations.

But this isn’t the first time Queen Rania has been generous with belonging from her precious closet. Remember when she added a hint of nostalgia to Princess Iman’s henna party gown by adding a pearl-encrusted belt from her own wedding dress? Or when she lent a pair of heirloom earrings to her ‘third daughter’ and soon-to-be daughter-in-law for her official engagement portraits? The next generation gets to imbibe her wisdom as a queen, but also inherit her impeccable sartorial sense.

Take a look at all the times Queen Rania and the Princesses have shared belongings from her closet.
