I don’t think there’s really one person that fits the Alice + Olivia description, I like to try and design for every woman.
Give us a run down of a typical Stacey Bendet day: I don’t think anything about me is typical.
It’s been a long day in the showroom, what do you perk yourself up with? A margarita.
What music is playing while you work? Depends on my mood, anything from jazz to 1970s rock to 1980s punk. I like to mix it up,
What, in your opinion, is the biggest misconception about looking good? I think people forget that feeling good is as important as looking good. Although a pretty dress never hurt anyone.
What do you love about New York? Everything! The energy, the eclectic-ness and the feeling that every street offers new inspiration and new things to discover.
