On the Kate Spade woman…
KS has stores opening up all over the world. It’s a global lifestyle brand, it’s ready to wear, it’s handbags, it’s housewares, it’s everything you can imagine; and what I’m seeing and loving so much is the Kate Spade customer. She’s so incredibly excited about the collection and about living the lifestyle because it’s all about exuberance and having fun. She never wants to be bored. She wants to be part of the stream of life and I think you can see that in the energy of the clothes and the stores.
On brand ‘Brad’…
We’re currently filming season two of It’s A Brad, Brad World, and the paperback version of my book, Born To Be Brad, is soon to be released, which is so exciting. I’ve also just launched my lifestyle website mrbradgoreski.com, which covers beauty and fashion. I do every single post and I take all the photos myself. It’s very much an insider’s perspective into what I’m doing and what I find exciting.
On Dubai style…
From what I’ve seen, the style scene is Dubai is not dissimilar to Los Angeles. LA’s definitely more laid-back, but we do like to make a statement, and there’s a huge focus on the way we look. Women go to the gym wearing make-up and I think it’s the same in the UAE. I’ve wanted to come to Dubai for many years now. I’m curious about it and I’m so excited to be here with Kate Spade New York and introduce everyone to the brand, and, of course, have a really fun party.
