Everyone’s falling for emerging actress Alma Jodorowsky, including Karl Lagerfeld. Showing off Chanel’s magical S/S13 collection, it’s easy to see why she’s become the new French It girl.
Thanks to her sultry almond eyes, impossibly long legs and brooding French looks, Alma Jodorowsky is fast taking the entertainment industry by storm. Her rise in the fashion world has come alongside a burgeoning film career – her latest movie, Blue Is The Warmest Color, won the Palme d’Or at Cannes Film Festival.
As if that wasn’t enough, the multi-talented 21-year-old Parisian star is also striking all the right chords in the music industry as lead singer in folk band Burning Peacocks. Oozing talent, beauty and an edge, it’s no surprise that she was chosen by Karl Lagerfeld to be his latest muse and Chanel ambassador.
On set for an exclusive shoot with Emirates Woman, a charming Alma, who resembles a rock chick version of Carla Bruni, confessed that being handpicked by Karl to feature in The Little Black Jacket Revisited, which exhibited last month in Dubai, was the highlight of her career.
“As soon as I saw my photo in the book, I loved it,” smiles the actress. “It was very theatrical, like me…”
