Couture Fashion Week is already underway in Paris, with a host of European labels such as Chanel and Dior displaying their fairytale pieces on the catwalk.

However the Middle East’s fashion industry is also well-represented at the five-day affair, with several Lebanese labels scheduled to present their collections.

Among them is Georges Hobeika, who took to the runway on Monday to showcase his Autumn/Winter 2017-2018 haute couture line.

The Beirut-born brand, which still has its main atelier in Lebanon, used ethereal chiffons, glimmering beading and richly ornate fabrics to create a range worthy of a princess.
