Check-in done, luggage stowed, it was time for me to lay back and relax with a water, movie and some delicious food aboard Emirates new A380, their pretty impressive double decker plane.

There’s nothing better than indulging in a three course a la carte menu when you’re 40,000 feet in the air.

I treated myself to the melt in the mouth smoked salmon, King Prawn Goan curry, finishing with a fruit platter and Godiva chocolate treats. Yum.

Landing in a snowy Paris, we checked into Le Maurice (one of Paris’s top 10 hotels) had a quick bite to eat at Le Dali and then it was beauty sleep time for all.

After a 6 hour+ flight it was time to slather my parched skin with my pocket-sized skincare favourites. I applied Clarins HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase, then Nuxe Nourishing Deep Wrinkle cream and The Sanctuary’s Brightening Eye Gel. Any product with the words deep, nourishing and brightening in their title are my travel buddies.

With a little jet-lag I was up bright and early, dressed and ready for Le Petit Dejeuner.

With the weather hitting lows of below minus and snow on the ground. I’ve opted for a chunky mohair jumper from Reiss, leather trousers, trusty leather boots and of course, my accessory du jour, the Canon ISO.

IMG_0245My office this morning – no complaints whatsoever!

Last sip of coffee and I’m off to explore Paris, with a jam-packed schedule of interviewing CHANEL’s International Watcher Director Nicholas Beau at Place Vendome, a much needed CHANEL skin care experience, a visit to Coco Madomoiselle Chanel’s apartment above the the CHANEL boutique (most excited about this) and  dining at Hotel Costes. Watch this space for more…
