Who is he?
The beauty of Giuseppe Santamaria’s work is that it is not posed. It is all natural, catching his stylish muses off guard. Women In this Town and Men In This Town are street-style journals covering women and men respectively.
An art director and photographer from Toronto, Giuseppe now resides in Sydney, Australia where most of his images are taken. Well, there as well as New York and London – essentially anywhere cool.
“I look to photograph the everyday woman whose dress sense is confident, strong and speaks volumes about who they are,” says Giuseppe of his work.
His laid-back approach yields stunning results, making it no surprise that he has worked with GQ and Monocle magazines as well as Peroni and Nespresso. He has also released a book, Men In This Town.
