With a vision to create a line that mixed classic American sportswear with an eclectic touch, Tory launched her luxury lifestyle brand Tory Burch in 2004.
The first store opened in downtown New York, with a décor that was designed to feel like a room in her own home with the now trademark orange lacquer and mirrored walls.
Venturing into the brightly lit stores, you’ll be greeted with a treasure trove of ready-to-wear pieces, shoes, handbags and jewellery.
Named after her mother, the Reva ballerina pump in particular has gained a cult following and has become the off-duty shoe of choice for the Hollywood set. We’ve spotted it on celebrities such as Hilary Duff, Jessica Alba and Lauren Conrad.

In 2008, Tory was awarded Accessory Designer of the Year and was also named as one of the world’s most powerful women by Forbes Magazine, who estimated that she was worth $1 billion dollars.
The busy mother of three sons and three step-daughters, is also known for her contributions to charity. She found time to set up The Tory Burch Foundation, which helps the economic empowerment of under privileged women and families.
