Stella McCartney has teamed up with Disney for a truly magical collaboration in anticipation for the upcoming release of Disney’s Maleficent.
The characters and scenes from the hotly anticipated film, which stars Angelina Jolie, inspired the capsule collection, which includes eight playful styles for both boys and girls aged four to 14.
Expect to find a pretty pastel palette representing Princess Aurora, played by Elle Fanning and deep purples for Maleficent, played by Angelina. For the boys, printed tops and printed trainers, signifying the dragon and monsters in the movie, are sure to delight any young fan.
Maleficent is set to explore the untold story behind one of Disney’s most iconic villains, known from the much-loved 1959 story of Sleeping Beauty. Looking at the betrayal, which turned her into such a monstrous character with a heart of stone, the story shines a new light on the feared character.
Maleficent is released in cinemas on May 30, and the collection will be available at The Dubai Mall from the end of April 2014.
