HIDDEN DEPTHS

“I love the half moon shape, especially with the nude; it’s so versatile and will go with any outfit, but still has an edgy touch. I thought this nail art design was super easy and quick to do. I’ll definitely be trying it at home, but next time I want to play around with more colour.”

The Trend: Nude half moon

THE RIGHT ANGLE

“The nail artist on the shoot made it look so easy with her great skills – I’m not sure I can pull it off that quickly – or at all! I really like the design – it’s different to what I normally go for, very artistic and looks like a black crystal pyramid with the sparkly nail varnish against the green matte shade. I’d definitely try this look again, with this exact colour combination.”

The Trend: Triangle shapes

ART ATTACK

“I chose to trial this design because it’s just so different. Nude and burgundy varnishes are standard choices for me so it’s good to inject some variety into my nail wardrobe every now and then. If I had a lot of time and patience I think I could ace one hand, but as I’m not ambidextrous I would seriously struggle when the time came to apply it on my dominant hand. A nail artist is a much better option for this! I’d coincide it with weekend wear; this design works better for days off than for days in the office.”

The Trend: Brush strokes
