Balenciaga vibes
You know how it goes. First you notice a series of oversized bows taking over your Instagram feed, then you spot one of the biggest models in the world styling it on her head for an editorial shoot, and you know you’re onto the next big thing in fashion.
South Korean brand Kimhekim already has several seasons under it’s belt, but it’s only recently it started to gain global attention. Founded by Kiminte Kimhekim— his name is linked to an ancient royal family in Korea and it symbolises the era of golden kingdom — the brand fuses streetwear with haute couture elements, inspired by his experience at one of the most iconic fashion houses, Balenciaga.

In fact, his collections are heavily influenced by the historic Maison. From oversized tailoring to logo basics, Kimhekim was clearly taken by the feminine androgyny at Balenciaga.
Most recently, we saw a number of Dubai-based influencers such as Saira Farhat (@fashky on Instagram) share his latest shoe creation and we are hooked.
Picked out from his SS20 couture line, the pointed-toe pump features an organza heart. Not only are they super chic, but they are also a lot more wearable than his oversized-bow flats that took over Instagram last year.
