Congrats to the beautiful couple
Egyptian superstar, Sherine Abdel-Wahab and her husband, singer and composer, Hossam Habib are expecting their first child together. According to Lebanese website Bitajarod, the pop-star found out about her pregnancy before Ramadan, but decided to keep it on the down low.
Over a year ago, the couple sent social media into a frenzy, when they announced that they are getting married. This news was a little unexpected, as people did not guess that the two singers were together, let alone thinking of getting married. Sherine has two daughters, Maryam and Hana, from her first marriage, who are currently living with her in Cairo. This child will be the 38-year-old and Hossam’s first child together.
Both singers were first linked together in 2016, when they released their hit collaboration, Kol Ma Aghani. The love song was accompanied by a video, which showed the Sherine and Hossam play a loved up couple, living in bliss. And as they say, life imitates art, as ever since tying the knot, the two have been inseparable and constantly showing their love to each other on social media. In honour of their anniversary in April, Hossam shared the sweetest post on Instagram, writing: “I lived all my life looking for a woman, as kind as my mother and as loyal as my friends. Someone who would support me and have my back. A lover and a friend. Like this day, a year ago, God gave me all of that and more.”

Sherine also shared a touching post on her Instagram, writing: “Today is my anniversary, but I feel like its my birthday. I feel like I was reborn on the day the day that I married Hossam Habib, and I wish that all women find a man like Hossam.”

In 2018, Sheirine released her latest album Nassay, which included several love songs referencing her relationship with Hossam. One of the album singles, Hobbo Ganna (His Love is Heaven) was clearly about her husband, who starred in the extremely romantic video, showing the couple sailing in Italy.
