Her Highness Sheikha Sana Al Maktoum has unveiled her latest collection for her eponymous jewellery line.
Taking inspiration from the 1920s era, her new collection entitled ‘Talisman’, the pieces draw familiarity from a time when costume jewellery reigned supreme and women felt empowered as a whole. To depict a transformative time in society, healing crystals seemed like the perfect addition to this sophisticated collection.
As a key component in her own spiritual journey, the crystals serve as a key masterpiece to aid her clients’ wellbeing. For daily reminders, holding affirmations and incorporating peace into daily life, these crystals are designed to channel earth’s unique treasures.
The capsule includes 13 pieces that are an amalgamation of 18K gold, diamonds and healing crystals to incorporate into daily life and complement a variety of looks.
“The inspiration for this collection draws from ancient history when royals would use crystals in their jewellery and amulets to aid healing and well-being,” Sheikha Sana explains.
“The main motivation behind using healing crystals is my own inner spiritual journey where I was exposed to the healing power of crystals.”
For a bespoke journey, customers have an opportunity to customise their own pieces according to their required energy vibrations. Whether malachite for heart-opening or lapis lazuli for communication, the options are endless and can work as a personal talisman for its wearer. After picking a crystal that resonates with them, the pieces can be designed according to the customer’s jewellery choice be it the Serenity earrings or the Inspire pink ring.
Launched exclusively on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2022, the collection was unveiled to private clients with Harrods Private Shopping. The collection has been in the works for almost a year after Sheikha Sana began working on the collection in summer last year while she was in London and infused elements from the architecture that surrounded her.
