With three days of Expo 2020 officially under our belts, the site has already been inundated with visitors.
One of the latest guests at Expo 2020 Dubai was Her Highness Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the daughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Sharing a video of her first full day at Expo 2020, Her Highness visited an impressive six pavilions in total – the UAE pavilion, Greece pavilion, Al Estedama pavilion, Saudi Arabia pavilion, Italy pavilion and Vision pavilion.

In the caption of the video, Sheikha Mahra said visiting the Expo 2020 site was “a great experience”.
Her Highness also shared a series of photos of her time visiting the different pavilions around the site of the six-month-long mega-event.
Over the weekend, the official opening ceremony of Expo 2020, which Sheikha Mahra attended.
It was a spectacular night, featuring performances from celebrated Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, British singer Ellie Goulding, Emirati pop star Ahlam Al Shamsi and more.

However, it was Dubai-born Indian performer Mira Sing who stole the show. In her role during the opening ceremony, Mira played a young local girl who’s observing the challenges of today and representing hope for the future.
This year’s Expo theme is ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’. Laying emphasis on various aspects, this grand-scale event will focus its sub-themes of sustainability, mobility and opportunity.
Expo 2020 Dubai officially started on October 1, 2021, and will be a six-month-long extravaganza ending on March 31, 2022. The timings are from Saturday to Wednesday, 10am to 12am and Thursday and Friday 10am to 2am.
