His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, reached great heights – quite literally – on Tuesday.
He paid a visit to Sharjah, touring the emirate’s newest attraction the ‘Cloud Lounge’ which sits 600 metres above sea level in Khor Fakkan.
The newest tourist attraction to the emirate, which was opened by the Ruler of Sharjah last week, boasts incredible views of the Gulf of Oman, as well as the east coast of the UAE.

Following his trip to the new site, His Highness shared photos on Twitter of his visit and also praised His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qassimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, for expanding the emirate’s offering in tourism.
“We commend the efforts of Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi for continuously identifying projects that boost tourism and benefit our country and our people,” he said.
There’s been a huge rise in tourism in the emirate of Sharjah over the last couple of years, with many new attractions gaining popularity including the House of Wisdom, the Flying Saucer, the Sharjah Rain Room, the Sharjah Art Museum and more.
The latest ‘Cloud Lounge’ in Khor Fakkan is just another one to add to the list.
