HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has made a touching tribute to “every mother” on Emirati Mother’s Day.
Acknowledging the current global outbreak of coronavirus, His Highness posted a poignant message of “love and appreciation” to mothers on his Twitter account.
With love and appreciation, we wish every mother a Happy Mother's Day. As the world encounters tough times, we must adhere to medical directives to protect all, especially our mothers… they are the most valuable asset we have.

UAE leaders HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Commander of the UAE Armed Forces His Highness also shared messages of gratitude towards all mums on Mother’s Day.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid encouraged everyone to keep their mothers “healthy” amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Stick to medical instructions with them, stay at home with them, take good care of them and spend quality time with them because they are the most valuable thing we have in this world,” he said in a Twitter post.
Meanwhile Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed thanked mothers around the globe for the “sacrifices” they make.
“To mothers everywhere, we thank all of you for the sacrifices you made, and the values you instilled in our hearts,” he said. “Let us remember the mothers who are no longer among us, and honor those who still are.
