Looking for your weekly dose of cute? Well, nothing beats a popular royal doing something slightly heroic…

In a recent video posted on YouTube, professional photographer Ali Essa captures Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai scuba diving through the Arabian Gulf when he rescues a trapped fish.

OK, so we may have exaggerated on the heroic front, but still it’s incredibly sweet.

Sheikh Hamdan is an avid fisherman and when he noticed a trapped fish he helped release it. So thankful for being saved, the fish followed the Crown Prince around for a good few minutes.

Ali Essa, who is the Sheikh’s personal photographer, captured the moment in several videos and photographs. Essa then shared what he’d captured via Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube and they were, unsurprisingly, quickly spread around.
