His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is known for his love of the Dubai culinary scene, as well as getting to know different people from the emirate no matter their age or background.

Combining these two things, the Crown Prince of Dubai recently shared the most adorable encounter he had at one of Dubai’s top restaurants.

Whilst dining at Gaia in DIFC last week, Sheikh Hamdan, affectionately known as Fazza, met a young toddler named Jawahir.

The little girl was sitting at her table colouring a drawing of a unicorn, which the Dubai Crown Prince sat down to help her with.

Following the meeting, His Highness shared two adorable photos of the encounter with the little “princess” on his Instagram story.

“I met this beautiful princess in a restaurant today,” he said of the meeting.

More recently, in keeping with his love of meeting new people, Sheikh Hamdan welcomed a family from abroad to Dubai.

Whilst dining at Kimura-ya creekside – an authentic Japanese restaurant – over the weekend, Sheikh Hamdan met a Japanese family visiting Dubai on holiday.
